Initial thoughts
First let me say, great game, it has potential an I can see it becoming quite addictive.
At this moment however there is one major issue for me, the performance.

1)
Literally this game is running at 12 FPS for me and happily chugging along, but it's not nice to watch. Now, I am running it on a laptop but this laptop runs FarCry3 at high without much trouble, in fact, any game.
Judging from my graphics card's fan activity it's not that heavy on the CPU of the card so (and also taking into account my own game production experience) it seems like a graphical memory problem.
The supposed fix for the videocard drivers window does not work

2)
The second minor issue I had was when I tried quitting the game, it crashed. Just hung, with a hidden error window only visible when you press ctrl+alt+delete and then to task manager and back to desktop.

3)
Where is my save option? I collected some plants, distilled some medicine and then quit the game. Now when I go back in I'm on the shore again and all my progress is lost. If this is deliberate it's bad game design.

Keep on optimising and you have a winner!

Btw my specs:
Core2 Duo T9300 2,5Ghz
QuadroFX 3600M card 512MB
4GB DDR2 @ 667Mhz

I don't know about the first two items, but to save the game you have to light a lamp, candle, urn pillar, or campfire. You can also sleep in a bed to save. One of the help tips at the beginning of the game mentions it.

Hmmmm I seem to have missed that due to the lag then :D Thanks!

so I really want to get this game but its preaty expensive for a indie game. Is it really fun? Or is it a game your gona play then just forget about it later?

1) It could do with a tad more optimisation, for sure. Nevertheless, it is entirely playable at present with a little tinkering in the graphics settings, at least on my moderate set-up.

2) I experience the same crash upon exit. So far, it's superficial in that it doesn't interfere with gameplay, nor save games.

3) As mentioned above. Sleeping (in a bed). Lighting a candle or an oil lantern. Lighting an urn (I'd describe it as a tribal bonfire structure). These are all ways to save the game.

I'm enjoying the game. It's a very immersive experience.

This game is laggy and buggy as hell.It random freezes and crashes. Don't bother buying untill all issues fixed. Not worth the $15.

The latest update is supposed to have fixed all performance problems. Try downloading Beta 3 (the password is beta3), it should be exactly the same as the latest update but maybe it will help.

When I first started the game I had the same issues (this was before beta 3 was released as an offical update) as you but the betas fixed it instantly.

And where would I have to download it, doesn't steam auto-update this game?

The current version is supposed to be identical to beta 3, and the betas have all been taken down now anyway. For future reference, to subscribe to a beta, right-click the game in your Steam library and click Properties. When there are any betas available, there will be a Betas tab, but it's gone for now. I hope you have better luck with future updates.
