The most underrated game ever...
Brink to me is a brilliant game. Though while there may be many great games in obscurity there are few that hold the infamy of Brink. The sadest part about Brink's infamy is that its mostly because it had a poor launch and people gave it not chance to fix itself, or they had no idea what they were doing and blamed the game.

Brink is a game of true origonality and subtlety. It gives such a unique experience and feels so well balanced and well thought out I that I could write essays on it. And to this day I find things that they did that make me marvel in how they must have made this. To see people call this off as a TF2 rip off or a lazy CoD rip is by far the most insulting thing you can do. It doesn't deserve that. Brink is basically the game that would be made if you were told to make the perfect mutliplayer FPS that fixes the issues they all have. To me Brink is an inspiration and a pleasure. I hope that one day it will get the love it deserves, so I say we recomend it to as many people as possible.

Spread the word. If people have tried it tell them to try it again. If they are scared to get it cuz of a poor review encourage them. Many of the people I've encouraged to play or replay tend to be fond of it. Tell your friends or just post it on random Brink videos. Do whatever you can to get more people to play. Show them some possitive reviews such as WTF is Brink, tell them your personal experience.

Don't just cry about how no one plays, do something. Together we can revive Brink. Together we can SAVE THE ARK!!!

What say you...

If its aethetic's wise try increaseing the FoV. It may not seem like much but it makes a world of difference trust me 120 fov Brink is 10x better than standard Brink in feel and looks.
If its not that then what? I'd be glad to help you find a way to enjoy it or help elaborate on something :)

This game is awesome (tried it on my friend's xbox), but there are not much people playing online (according to another friend). Solo SUCKS but multiplayer is awesome but the customisation unlock mechanics doesn't make sense... WTF!?! This game should got 75% off :P

It's actually simple. Just play the challenges that teach you about the game and you unlock everything from the get go instead of having to spend hours of grinding and leveling up. And yes this game is best multiplayer (though the singlplayer is the same but with bots), so that's why I'm trying tot get people to try it.

Love Brink. Certainly one of my most favorite FPSs. The only thing i didn't really like was how little missions there are. I think more people would play this if it were a F2P. If anyone reading this doesn't have it, I highly recommend it. I'm sure it doesn't cost much ($20 U.S. I think) so it's definitely worth a try.

I agree. Brink would also make a great gift for the holiday season expecially if you can find it on sale. Love Brink and high hopes to Dirty Bomb (Splash Damages new game coming out)

Um from my view i havent seen much promotion around this game!Example i never seen a single cd hit the stores in my country.Think its the same for 80% of world stores you only see crap company like Electronic arts games and few other in store being sold what even isnt worth buying much. That affects the ammount of player community.

Yeah. It really doesn't deserve what it gets. If it wasn't for bots substituing for missing players it would have died long ago, and its way too good a game for that imo

nowhere in your post do you give any information whatsoever about what is good. The closest you get is 'i could write and essay'. If you are marketing the game, at least give us some reason, im curious after hearing the game panned so incredibly hard by everyone else.

edit: i guess im asking what does BRINK do well that I cannot get anywhere else?

First off heres a video I made plus one from Total Biscuit that really expains why Brink is great.
Mine (a tad old):

And for a shorter answer. Brink offers something that no other game I have played offers. Down to its game feel, to its atmosphere, and even its music. It is a mix of single player and multiplayer offering a story in multiplayer maps in a very subtle way, so that its very optional to be invested or even watch and backs it up with over an hour of well voice acted audio logs that help really bring home the main theme of the game "There is no good side or bad side. Just opposing sides." Gameplay wise its one of the better ones I can think of. The gameplay is fun and the parkour offers a feeling of the environment working with you rather than just being there and just give you a sense of freedom plus the slide offers alot of tactics and helps deter camping along with fairly large health. The guns are very fun and well balanced. They each have their own advantages and senarios where they shine and the ability to switch them out really helps. The classes are made to keep people form just sticking to whatever class they like the best like in TF2. They have no differences besides what kinda objectives they can complete, they're depoyables/throwables, and they're buffs. They offer different ways to play the game, but don't alienate the people who don't want to play that way. The maps are very expansive and feel like miniture campaigns nearly and offer many side objectives and neet little things like an elevator and secret passage ways to help flank. The temwork is superb. You get more xp for doing co-op things and the amount of health you get makes it so it takes much longer for you to kill one person than for 2 to kill you, so solo-ing is very hard unless you get behind enemy lines. The gun customizations make the guns very re-usable and stylable and all the unlockables can be got with just doing teh challeges which help teach you about the game. And on PC they're an easy fix to make the fov larger. When played in 120 fov it is amazing. I could go on but I think I made my point. Also when you get it turn off ambient occlusion. It ♥♥♥♥s the frames pretty hard. If you can run it well it is a very good game. Alot of its hate comes from how it was on launch expecially on Xbox. I'd definatly reccomend you get it if you get it on sale.

Here's a video of lightweight parkour and 120 fov:

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder isn't it? Also I have played it EXTENSIVELY and more importantly recently and its very balanced. The only complaint I have is that a few stages are a bit unbalanced, but the game itself isn't at all.
Also I notice your Red Nation profile picture and gotta say props. Its a very fun little game :)
The customization system makes a lot of sense.
