No, BRINK had too much random shots, + the weapons feedback was near 0 and their noise was boring. I feel like playing with pad while i play with mouse?! I'm no casual player, i like the counter-strike concern about accuracy and damage localisation. BRINK had to have this concern too in order to feel like previous ET games.
But so far you're right at one thing : if the shooting system (or related stuff) was improved, i sure would enjoy the game more.
Secondly i personnaly would adjust the Camera shaking ♥♥♥♥. It shakes way too much and provides the impression that our character is heavy (even the light one) and slow while BRINK needs dynamic mouvement and fluidity.
Yep if they fixed those, i would play it more, even in offline campaign if you ask me.

For improve in-game damage and health:
