Cockpit Transparency

Is there a way to change level of transparency when in cockpit view? Mine is currently so low I can barely notice it, almost ghost like. I would like to disable transparency when in cockpit mode, if possible....

Cockpit windshield gets dirties after your ship "health" decreases. You can fix the health by finding "repair kit".

Although there's a faster work-around there... dirty trick :-) Switch to no-cockpit mode (press F1 and see help for a key that does this...I don't remember right now)

I'm not sure I made sense...it's too transparent, almost like the cockpit view isnt visible at all.

I dont think its damage or dirtiness causing it.

I took a screenshot to show it. The cockpit is barely visible in the image. Almost looks like a bug and error or a glitch of some sort.

Aha, now I see. This looks like a GPU driver issue. Can you update your video drivers?

If so I have a fix for this issue that I submitted to the developers a few hours ago.

Sure. I just need to make sure it doesn't violate their license because they are very kind to release the code and I want to respect the restrictions they release it under. Not to mention the legal concerns. I'll post it here when I'm done verifying it works on a clean install and that it's legal for me to distribute the .dll directly. There also might be additional bugs because I haven't tested it too thoroughly and only on two machines. But at least the cockpit will work!

I am not responsible if this mod does not work or causes damage to your miner wars installation, though I did my best to ensure it will work well. This is the code I will be using to play the game, if that gives you any idea of my confidence level. I just do not want to be legally or morally responsible for anything, ever. They are .dll files so be sure to scan them with an antivirus program, etc...

Make sure to read the README.txt for info on installation and other things. Make a backup first. You only really need to back up the MinerWars/bin even though I recommended the whole folder in the README. The data files are huge and should remain unchanged by this mod. I made very few changes and only changed rendering code.
