(Disconnected) Problem

I know a few more asked about this but I still dont understand

I dont understand what meaned by this "(because you didn't play multi-player in your current game session)".
when I enter multi player I dont see any servers really no one plays the game online ? or I did something wrong

I've been hosting a campagin game sporadicly the past week if you wanna try out the co-op send me an add. The only really weird sh¡t is with the in game messaging, it has very limited characters that can be sent at a time.
