Why there's so many bad reviews on this game?
I think it's enjoyable and amazing and don't get how someone could rate 3/10 (Eurogamer) - thats really, really stupid. Does he ever played it? if I forgot minor bugs, there's 7/10 at least (or 8 after all bugs are fixed). So where all 3 and 4/10 appeared?

Don't get it too... It's fun, it's good looking, it's innovative and original. So where's the problem? As I read before: "Expecting new Eve Online (but in offline mode) for 5 bucks and rating game as it WAS Eve is stupid"

Bah, I can't take Eurogamer seriously. Well, I take most publications with a grain of salt, but seriously though, I got Strike Suit Zero last week... I LOVE the game, and they gave that the same score basically because the reviewer was terrible at the game. To be fair, I understand why you would hate a game if you're forced to play it (because it's your job) and you're absolutely terrible at it, but still, a 3/10 just because you personally suck is not okay.

So yeah... Eurogamer is just... meh. Take them out of the equation and Miner Wars fares much better.

It looks that everyone trying to compare Miner Wars with Descent, then he realizes it's different game and scratches two points. Than he realizes he needs more than five buttons to fly the ship and scratches another two. Oh, hey, they shoot me down? It¨'s way too hard, another two down. It sucks, there you have 3/10 (I scratched another just because of DRM). Reviewers shouldn't be able to review games they don¨t like (or don't know how to play), otherwise they just trying to compensate their own deprivations...

A friend really wanted to play this with me, and I decided to buy it for the both of us. I don't know what happened, but when we played it on the easiest difficulty together, the enemies just seemed to mow us down. I don't mean we stood in their line of fire or anything, I mean a few bullets and our ships would pop like party balloons. It got so bad that we decided one of us should just sit behind and let the other respawn on us over and over, dying at the low starting HP. Funny thing is, when I tried it single player none of this was a problem. I could take bullets to the face in the starting couple of levels like a champ. I don't know if it was a bug of some sort or a 'balancing' feature for multiplayer, but it made the game unplayable.

Couple that with drunk indoor physics, the silly ♥♥♥ idea that space stations should be made for full space ships and not just for people to get out of their space ships in, what little of the mediocre storyline that I saw, and that the game's most alluring mechanic (mining) takes so god damned long and is obtuse, I can understand why people would rate this low. It's nowhere near as fun as Eve. It's space flight controls are drunken and sluggish, and don't fool yourself into thinking it's 'hardcore' in any way like some people seem to be trying to say. Enemies with split second reaction times and perfect aim don't make for good gameplay.

The on bad thing left in my opinion is that there is still no decent co-op. Only the host saves their data (weapons, money, items, etc) anyone joining their server is there only as a companion. A companion destined to play with a start-out plane and therefore die all the time. (See discussion here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/223430/discussions/0/828925849345165029/)

While i have not played co-op yet (non of my friends have it) i have played singleplayer and the controls are a bit hard sometimes and there are moments when the enemies are just OP and sometimes i do have issues figuring out things but in the end i think that it is a fun game but with Eve i never did get to the combat because i got bord within the first hour or so, not saying that its a bad game (mabye its a great game and i just never got to the good part) but some people do better in some games than others, im sure they will probably fix only the host saving the data eventually, like they did the DRM.

Bought this game with a friend for co-op mode. CO-OP does not work. if we could get it to work we learned he would never be able to save the progress of his character. All in all very frustrating. Would NOT have bought if I had been aware of these facts beforehand.
