Complaining about DRM is stupid
..for there's no real DRM, only cloud synchronization. Where have you got that misinformation? Try to unplug your internet cable during the play and nothing happens. Try to think before you start complaining.

You know whats funny, I said this about 30 days ago, in a thread, which was then destroyed for some reason or other, meh I'm used to it.

I also find it funny that people complain about DRM as much as they do when they use Steam, which is as far as I'm aware, a DRM, but someone correct me if I'm wrong since a DRM is in short, something that requires you to log in to play a game.

So, you're saying the official system requirements are a lie?

Actually, no I don't. Since the developers refuse to discuss the DRM in any way, I guess I never will.

I'm sure they have a lot of work to do instead of "discussing" with haters ;)

I'm sure they're very busy, but we're talking about roughly 2 minutes of extra effort here. All they need to do is release updated system requirements that clarify what sort of DRM is in place. Done. (Preferrably I would also like an explanation as to why they have censored people who have discussed the DRM in public forums. So maybe call it 5 minutes.)

You sir are stupid. The only thing about Steam that has to have a internet connection is download a game or playing online. Also, Steam gives you the opion to go offline & still play your games. If it was truely 100%. We wouldn't be able to do this. Don't be so stupid next time.

Steam is a DRM, Sorry you can't see whats right infront of you, let me put this in simple for you.

If Steam's servers get hit by an asteroid and I want to install the game that requires steam from the CD which I brought, oh wait, I can't, Steam's servers do not exist, game will not install, thats £40 I've wasted, thanks alot, Lets say I want to play co op with my friend over lan at a party, oh wait, most steam games won't do lan without being signed into Steam, lets say I want to borrow a game from a friend, oh wait I can't, its tied to Steam (which is actually a breach of Europian law but whatever.), If that isn't a DRM system, I have no clue what is.

I'm not saying Steam is bad, I'm all for developers protecting thier products, but Valve have done not only one of the earliest DRM systems, but one thats so murky, the average person (like you) can't see it, thats not your fault though, thats how deceptive it is.
