another review from a Fan of minewars

Nice game really for who played descent, a spiritual successor:) Devs read a suggestion
Dont know the problems of all this coddish kids blame, but the game is nice and i run it smooth without no problems. The only thing i can blame on it, it's that there's no an hangar for customize ships at start or maybe i didnt found it for mp and that there's no support for dedicated server at least for the DM mode. Or this game should be a must. However nice work, continue to support this game

The game runs and plays perfectly for me as well. I was a past Descent 1, 2, and 3 fan. I miss Wingnut!! Beats those yellow arrows. Great game well worth the price. Those that complain about the FPS don't understand the resources needed to create a destructible world. FPS is fine for me.

We are still working on performance optimizations, FPS will get better. (This doesn't mean we didn't optimize before the release - it just means that there's still room for optimizations and we
want to push it)

Have this game more subtiltes language?
GoLucky Dec 4, 2012 @ 7:15pm
So the devs are fluffing their own game now? You may want to make sure you actually have the game purchased on your fluff account before making a post. What an embarassment you guys should be ashamed.

I'm happy i got to see first hand your methods. Never looking back at this scam.

Those are some serious accusations man. No, I don't see the game in his profile, but he does have many other games. This leads me to believe that this account is real.

I'm just going to assume he bought the game somewhere other than Steam. To point it out, I own both Fairy Bloom Freesia and Cherry Tree High Comedy Club, but you won't find them anywhere in my Steam profile.

Hello everyone!

Have this game more subtiltes language?

You don't need to double post. We understand you want subtitles in other languages.

BTW he has Miner Wars 2081 on Steam and has played 0.9 hrs last two weeks. Odd.

We're talking about Lijpert right? I don't see Miner Wars anywhere in his games list. O_o

Like I said, I figured he just bought it somewhere else.

Skyrim in space! :D That's sooooo funny. Simplistic "Descent" clone with no sandbox features whatsoever, being compared to SKYRIM?? Someone is having delusions.

I seriosly doubt this guy has the game, looking at his profile. Even if he bought it somewhere else he could have linked the game here with a Steam key, but no, he hasn't.

I wonder if the OP and myself have bought the same game... The only thing you can do here is partake in an almost impossible to play "quest" or fly around in a vacant asteroid field until you run out of fuel in a few minutes.

I'm happy to see someone with something positive to say about this game.

I believe he probably has the game on like Desura or another platform and maybe doesn't know, care or have the ability to link it up to Steam.

For a indie title it is a lot better than many that I've seen. "Skyrim in space"? Not in my opinion but maybe "Torchlight 2 in space" with main differences being:
1. Miner Wars graphics are different, full 3D 6DoF with totally destructible environment and admirably low system requirements vs Torchlight 2's topdown 2.5D/fixed camera 3D.
2. Space FPS/RPG vs Fantasy setting Action RPG
3. Miner Wars requires always active internet connection and has some purchaseable DLC expansion and a cheat pack vs Torchlight 2 has no DRM or paid DLC which in my opinion is a better policy.

Just to add my 2c to this thread, I enjoy the game also, it could be deeper ofc, based on its merits it has a reasonable amount of ships, weapon systems and a reasonable leangh single player story and plenty to explore assumign you keep stock of youfuel and oxygen levels, I can understand people being a little upset this game isnt everything they want it to be but untill star citizen comes out Id sooner be playing this for what it is than not play it because it isnt the exact game I wasnt it to be.

That's assuming you're given a Steam key. Besides, why even link the game if you don't have to? Like I said, I own both Fairy Bloom Freesia and CTHCC, and you won't see them in my Steam profile.
