Petition: Offline Single Player Play

Dear Development Team.

In the light of recent discussions and all the bad publicity that comes with it, we, the gamers, would like you to consider a way to make the single player part of the game available without having to log in to your servers and/or having an internet connection available.

Since this petition is about to be signed by Steam gamers, piracy protection is already in place via Steam and we consider ourselves to be loyal, paying customers - not pirates. Please treat us as such. :)

As we understand that videogames generate the most of their sales immediately after release, we will be perfectly happy with a patch to follow in a couple of weeks that will address this request for offline single player play.

lol, I'm part of that DRM hatred group but I think this is an intelligently worded and reasonable request to the developers. Put this in place and I become a paying customer.

Interested in the game. The fact that it has no offline component for the single player is really the only thing keeping me away.

...and I too would just like to see the game run properly. I.E. without stuttering and framerate dips to 30fps while only using 1 or 2 cores (40%) of my 4 core CPU and 60% of my GPU power.

/sign.. i too would just like the game to work properly, the stuttering, jarring and non existent troubleshooting other than 1 game log file.

I saw this game on the front page today, visited the website and was all excited. I was going to buy it directly from the dev's site until I saw that it requires constant connection even for SP. No sale until this is removed.
