My Game Locks When Seeing the Hanging lady.

Hi.

I open the door, her face shows up, then it pans out, and for some reason or other the game doesn't freeze because I can still access my inventory, and main menu but I can't move forward, leftt, right well you get the idea.

Anyone know what could be going wrong here?

I am running the patch 1.5, but still iI can't move.

This happened to me before. The only solution I found was to keep reloading and going through that sequence until you can get through it properly.

It's a real mood killer having to do that though. I did finally get through (7 times) but I decided to hug the door to walk in.

Not sure if that fixed it but I was able to get into the room.

Best solution I saw was to enter the room in mid-jump. Worked for me, but saving and loading is another strategy. Here's another pointer: If the game crashes for you while pushing an object, try pushing while ducking. That seems to allow progress.
