Amazing PVP game
This game is amazing, it took me less than a day to get the mechanics down and I highly recommend this game. Be warned you do need a bit of skill to enjoy it. It is harder to PVP in than WoW or GW2 because there is no tab targeting.

If you enjoy mmo's and you enjoy fps's this game does a great job of combining the two.

100% agreed. The game is rough and needs some polish, but the actual pvp combat is quite delicious.

I find it overwhelming. Usually score only one kill per match (Pathfinder) and still haven't figured out how the leveling works. Granted I'm not a MMO PvP vet and Forge is my first *blushing*

Seven if you jump on the mumble when we're playing, most people will be happy to teach you ;)

I've been perplexed for a while now with all the negative posting on this forum. I thoroughly enjoy this game. I'm not very good at it yet, even with 34 hours in the game, but it is great fun. I particularly like the way the game rewards improved skill and team play, rather than interminable hours of grind. And since I never buy subscription-based games, I appreciate being offered a fantasy-combat mmo with a one-shot payment

I also like the targeting system. Sometimes, when the action is intense, I panic a little, my hand twitches and I can't hit the broad side of a barn door - usually swiftly followed by a trip back to the spawn point. I figure that's what should happen - you panic, you die.

I find the game has some very well-balanced components: The pathfinder camouflage, for example. You can't see him, but he can't move, either. So, if you backtrack his arrows you can find him and disrupt the camouflage. He can hide himself up high and rain death down on his enemies, but has to leave himself vulnerable to the nearest assassin to do so.

I play a lot of one-player games, so am inclined to be a loner in Forge as well. It has taken me a while (and quite a few deaths) to get it through my skull that while you can venture out alone some of the time, playing with your team is much safer (be nice to your shaman).

I really like the game, and look forward to the community growing.
