Anyone else experiencing low FPS?
I don't understand why, but I'm maxing out at 25 FPS in game with ALL settings either at their lowest or off entirely. My computer is brand new; easily meeting the recommended requirements. I am experiencing the low FPS on all maps, including the tutorial map.

SPECS:
Windows 8 (could be a problem?)
Intel i7 quad-core 2.70GHz
nVidia GT 650m 2GB
8GB RAM

It's good to hear I'm not the only one with this problem. I don't know what it could be. Windows 8 was my first guess, but it sounds like it's a dead end if you're having the same problem with Windows 7.

You definately aint the only one. I really wish there will be some thread telling how to fix it, or if it will be better after some updates.. Having better FPS would make the game feel even better then it is. In the jungle map (dont rememebr the name) I really just rather quit then play.. its very choppy >.<

I agree. It's sad that individuals are deterred from enjoying the game due to the low FPS issue. I hope there's some official statement made soon.

For me the game was running off my integrated intel graphics chip despite the fact that it SHOULD have been running off of my GTX 670M. After forcing it to launch for the GPU I'm getting 40-60FPS on max settings in tutorial...reporting all servers full however so I cant test.

Thanks for the info! Did you just force it through the nVidia control panel?

Change Smooth Framerate to False -> X:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Forge\ForgeGame\Config\ForgeEngline.cfg

Sadly this doesn't work. At least for me. Thanks for the tip though.

I would love a fix for this, too.

Yeeeahh, I got this problem too. Updated drivers and everything. Sort of had the same problem as Goliith, Forge isn't picking up my crossfire setup, it isn't kicking in when I run the game at all. It's like it's not even using my GFX cards, getting about 15-20 frames on most maps. I also noticed a few errors in game which could be linked. I get some red/green messages in the top left and also get a lot of skill effects lingering which drop my fps drastically when I look at them.

Going to try Goliith's fix and also w4cKyg4m3r fix.
