Game was a huge let down
I really don't have to words to describe how bad the game feels, characters don't have any weight behind them they just float all over, controls are weird, abilities are strange and confusing with no real "umf" behind them it just doesn't feel good to hit enemies, there is no balance between the classes at all.

Over all the game looks and feels like crap and I've very disappointed in it, it doesn't deliver on any front.

Saddest part is the "community" I played couple games and in every single one 80% of the players in the lobby where playing the Pyromancer and just lobbing fireballs at each others in a narrow alley way.

Just a fair warning to anyone and everyone don't buy the game at it's current state, it's not worth the 10$/€/whatever

Your not alone as i feel the same way so far, im just going to put this game on the back burner, and come back at a later date. I've tried each class Pyromancer which most people use no luck, dont let people hate on you for it.

You= Elitist Jerks Club, it's Great spacewhale's opinion, as well as mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People fail at being more helpful to find things maybe the OP is doing wrong. Please let us know that would be a good start. People must be pro gamers at every game it seems.

LOL such a fail post... the game is wicked and developing quickly, i hate it at first why? Pyromancers destroyed me as an assassin, before i realized the combo's needed to take them down, then it was TIME FOR DA KILLING, the game looks great, though a few maps are quite dark which i dont like, but the outdoor maps are insanely good.

This. Learn the game. It's better than you think.
Also, I agree on some maps being dark. I actually had to turn up the brightness a hair for a couple of them. Hopefully they change that in the future.

Theres alot to learn - but there is a tutorial for each character class and pressing Left-Alt gives you an awesome description of anything you mouse over (including all of youre abilities).

Loads of moaning about buttons being difficult, theyre 100% remappable so stop being lazy tbh. Once youve mapped 1,2,3,4 you can use Q E R F C and thats everything covered - much like GW2.

Played a few games and yes it is quite difficult when you first drop in. Best thing is to just give it time and get used to how to play. Spent the first 20minutes getting schooled as the Warden but now I've got my head round how it plays and what the enemies can do and I'm loving it now.

The maps are amazing, all really unique. Every corner or walkway you end up being near changed the battle loads.

I am afraid to say though this game involves a lot of team work which escapes a large proportion of gamers.

OP played the game for a total of 0.6 hours (36 minutes).

OP says there's no balance.

I lol.

Really now. How can anyone be making balance claims with only 36 minutes of gameplay? The rest of the complaints may or may not be legitimate. A lot of that is subjective, but that's the nature of games and entertainment. Still though... It's hard to take a post seriously when it says "game is imba" after 36 minutes. Even more so when the game forces you to do tutorials before you get to jump into a real match.

Dunno about you but my abilities feel pretty "umf" when they stun half of the other team, lol.

It looks like OP decided to make a post based on emotion rather than logic. The game is good, and it will only get better with upcoming content. It's illogical to claim the things you have with only 40 minutes played.

This game really could have been more refined a little more before release. But they're planning on adding quite a bit more to it. It has some moments that can be fun. It's not really intense yet though. In the death match modes, you just gotta be chill and have fun. It can be quite fun at times. But like I was saying it's not really intense yet, just chill fun.

But once arenas come out, I can see this getting real intense real fast. That is if the player base is still around. I really think they're shooting themselves in the foot for releasing too early. Most players just give a game one chance.

Is this true? I have been considering on getting the game and I can take all the other criticism for granted, but weight and "oomph" is a big part for me in games, I feel games like Chivalry, Diablo 3 andTorchlight 2 had that right amount of oomph in it whereas in Guildwars 2 most of the attacks lack a real "oomph" to it, which kind of ruined my overall combat experience, as beautiful as the rest of that game was.

- "controls are weird" lol learn to play.

- "unbalanced"? again, learn to play. how the ♥♥♥♥ it's unbalanced if you can switch class during the match, and if it's a team based game? in other words: there is a healer and a supporter class - stay close to your team and get healed instead of running around like a noob and crying for 1vs1 balance (the enemy team has more healers? switch class. problem solved), and in any case, i tried every class without getting easily killed by another class in 1vs1. if you get istant-pwned, means you don't know how to play.

certainly they can change again and again the abilities to make them more balanced as possible if for example, there is something that does too much damage, but currently, a good team with healer vs another good team with healer are perfectly balanced.

it's obviously unbalanced if: 1) players of a team don't know how to play 2) a team has one or more healers, the other team has no healer (switch class then, and play as healer).

No, not really. I love the feeling of sticking my knife into someone as an Assassin.
