Why Steam
Okay maybe someone can help me with this because I'm getting a little more than peeved off. back when i had thge old copy i had the obse and a good setup of mods, decided to get it on steam and was all excited to play it. Obse doesn't want to work and before you point out download the latest launcher i have that too. what hapens is i hit the obse and the oblivion launcher pops up after a steam pop up message, closing the launcher causes the obse to just sit there launching it causes it to crash. so is there anything I can do or am I s.o.l

You say you have latest OBSE
So you can read OBSE readme and find everything you need to do with steam.

you install OBSE as normal and run the game from the Steam launcher (or the Oblivion exe) not the OBSE launcher,i'm running OBSE and it works fine (i had the same problem)
