€3.83 - $4,99 on GOG
Just a few bucks on GOG (no DRM at all, no client):

I was gonna post that! :D

DRM free and less expensive.

And tomorrow they'll get System Shock 2! (Steam too though, I think).

Bumping for the 4.99 version on Steam. Especially nice for people in WA.

Hmm, a sale both on Steam and GOG with Valentine's Day coming up? It seems a new Humble Bundle with Giana Sisters as a BTA is around the corner...

I miss the days when 75% off sales were more frequent. Hmm, to wait or get it on GoG (I suppose it could also be in an even cheaper HIB).

Can you activate GoG version on Steam??.
hexaae Feb 13, 2013 @ 5:12pm
GOG games are stand-alone and DRM free. You don't need clients and you don't have ANY KIND of restriction: you just download the game, install it and play it. It's yours forever and you can download it from GOG site whenever you want... GOG offers also the game updates, when available.... Really don't need a Steam version.

Have not seen yet if there's a key in the system registry to try activating it also on Steam...

I have a GOG account but have yet to buy anything from them (Decent Freespace Someday). I usually buy from steam regardless as all my info is already in here. I also support Valve also, with linux being a big thing for them.

GOG is a good service tho so no biggy.

What???? Don't tell me that!!!! I just gave my GOG account away 3 days ago... after hardly playing any of the 44 games I had on it and deciding to give up PC gaming (am restricting myself to PS3 and selected point'n'click adventures and indie stuff on my Mac)

System Shock 2 is one that I would DEFINITELY have played, but it didn't look like it was ever going to resurface. BAH!

Crap, saw this earlier and decided to buy it on gog, so I went there 2 minutes ago, but the sale is already over :(
I can't remember seeing a countdown timer (like Cupid's Cupcakes has now) though, or I would've bought it 5 hours ago. Oh well, guess I'll buy it on Steam then.
