Game won't run, help please?
The launcher runs just fine, but the game seems to crash on startup every time I select Play, and I'm faced with this error message: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/56793829/halp.png

My apologies for the moonspeak of my OS, that somewhat translates into:
"Unprocessable exception within the application. If you choose to Continue, the application will bypass the error and attempt to continue function. If you choose Stop, the application will close immediately.

Startup of the application failed due to its collateral expression being flawed. Details are included in the application's log."

If I choose continue, the error message closes but nothing happens afterwards. That's the case with the DirectX9-setting at least, on 10-11 I get another error message:
"Formatting of the application failed (0xc0150002). Close the application by clicking OK."
And the thing crashes, launcher included.

I've tried several different Display Configurations to no success, only changing the DirectX mode yields differing results.

I'm running a 64-bit Windows Vista with 4GB RAM, Intel Core2 Quad CPU Q9450 @ 2.66GHz 2,67 GHz. Video card is NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT.

As far as I know, this should be enough to run the game, but apparently something's off. Tried to look it up from the internet, but it seems no-one faced similar problems with this title, or didn't bother writing about it.

I'm under the impression that even the game devs visit this forum, any chance anyone reading this could help? I have fond memories of the original GS on my grandpa's Commodore Amiga, and would really like to experience this title. Not to mention I just spent actual money on this.

This is all the answers we got so far:

You are highly unlikely to get a dev response here. I'd suggest making an account there, devs are more likely to see your post there.
