Morrowind Overhaul Does Not Detect My Morrowind Install
I get the error "No, Morrowind files are missing. The .exe file is missing. No, both the expansions are missing." I have confirmed I have the .exe and expansions working and in my install folder, and it is all in order and working completely.

Two things: Make sure you extract the overhaul installer to the same directory morrowind.exe is in and run it as administrator.

Hi, I'm new here. That said, I can express my true feelings...AAAAHHHHhhhhh! It's taken a dozen hrs of installs & uninstalls, upgrades & searches, learning that the Impulse version of Morrowing GotY doesnt like the 3.0 overhaul! So, I bought one here, & after 3 attempts to resolve a snag, I'm about to throw in the towel & throw up! EXCEPT...I love Morrowind. I miss her so much that I packed, got full of anticipation, & the plane wont leave the runway!! WHHHAAaaaa....sniff. What am I trying to say here? I press the exeOptimizer button & it says that Morrowind (& exc) is not found/installed?! To choose/find the file? The set-up said that it would launch the Optimizer & that I would be 'warned' when I would need to do something. Warned? Hmmmmm. What? So, now I've spent more HOURS looking for (patching, relaunching etc.) this elusive "Morrowind" file & can't find whats up?! OMG It feels like a joke! PLEASE, someone help (in step by step easy ♥♥♥♥♥s language please). My computer meets ALL reqmts. Thanks!

A picture is worth a thousand words, so,
at thirty-thousand words per second, this video tutorial is equal to 11,610,000 words.

Thank you all for your help, I don't think I'd have figured it out without it.
