I've been a fan of the Fallout franchise since I was 7, and I stole a copy of Fallout 1 from my brother's friend's house. I played it for a while, and got greatly attached to it. I absolutely loved it. Then I lost it 3 months later and forgot about the whole series until I found Fallout 2 in my brothers bedroom about 4-5 years later. Then, I got attached to the series yet again. Fallout 3 is the last Fallout I played, as I thought it wouldn't work on my Windows 8, so I got New Vegas before I found out you can work this on Windows 8. So I bought it, and played it. And it was my favourite game I had played since I picked up DOOM for the first time. So without further delay, lets review Fallout 3!
Firstly, the gameplay is great and fun. I especially like the VATS system. Blowing enemies heads off in slow-motion is a thing EVERY game needs.
I don't want to give too much away, but nonetheless, the story is pretty damn awesome. The good thing about Fallout 3 is you don't have to follow the main story. You could just do side quests the whole time. Or when you finish the game, you could just do side quests until you buy the DLC'S. Which brings me onto my next subject:
There are five DLC'S you can buy (You get them all if you got the GOTY edition) and all of them are very entertaining and fun. I personally recommend Mothership Zeta if you like a good Sci-Fi adventure, or Broken Steel if you joined the Brotherhood of Steel in the main game.
Absolutely flawless. You need to buy this masterpiece. If you loved the other Fallout's then this is a must buy.
