Don't mind my hours here, I played on a modded version of the fallout which ment I had to have fose running (fallout luncher with modifications)
Altough I have played this game on my PS3 console it was great fun to re-visit this game while it was on sale.
It normally takes you 10 hours to complete the story with the main quest only, right ? *spoilers incoming*
Well as I wanted to do some quests I started with the book of wasteland. On one of the ending quests we had to find ourselves in the "ship" city, which I had to walk to and you'll never guess what happened. I was walking by the pump rooms so I decided to go in, I killed a bunch of mutants and found some tapes, when I read them, my dad quest completed itself and it told me to go to vault 108. This skipped preatty much all of the finding bit and got me straight to the ending quests. I was rather dissapointed because it only took me like 5 hours to complete the game and if I ever wanted to do any sidequests, either I would have to load in the old save or start a new game.
Overall I played fallout nv before and I have to say this is the better game, they both are perfectly fine and fun, but fallout nv took more of a "newbie" approach because the quests tell you exacly what to do and lead you exacly to the point, in fallout 3 oh no; its not as simple as that you have to do some searching around.
Overall this game is amazing and i encourage people to do sidequests and not only the main story because you will be kind dissapointed with the lenght.
