Steam and GoTY question
I originally purchased Fallout 3 on Steam, then later purchased a copy of the Game of The Year edition on DVD when the only other way to get Mother ship Zeta was through Games For Windows Live. (This was years ago, obviously)

With rumors of Fallout 4 popping up I thought it would be a great time to do another Fallout 3 play through.
I was wondering if it is possible to re-install the base game through Steam, then install the DLCs off the GoTY DVD so that I can play that content and still benefit from the Steam overlay in game.

You can add it as a non steam game and have the overlay but you wont have the community hub button or anything like that. Go to library and click "add a game" and find fallout 3.

Thanks! I'll give that a shot.
