Fallout 3 Won't Start a New Game

Fallout 3 used to work fine. After beating the main quest line and exploring for a bit, I decided to install mods. I followed all of the installation instructions. After playing with the mods for a bit, I decided that I wanted to go back to vanilla. I uninstalled all of the mods and tried to start a new game. I hit New Game and press Yes, but nothing happens, so I do it again. When I confirm that I want to make a new game, nothing happens. The game used to work fine before, so I don't know what the problem is. The mods I was using were FWE, MMM, DarnUI, Fellout, EVE, and RH_Ironsights.

if you had darnui you'll have to revert the font section in your fallout.ini to how it was before if you uninstall it
