It seems Valve have made some changes to the way the steam controller works and this doesnt work with how Dead Pixels uses controllers.

If you do this it shoudl work.

Go to your Steam Library
Right click on Dead Pixels and select Properties
Click on Set Launch options
And type "-disablecontrolers" without the quotation marks

This will disable support for non xbox pads as it seems the steam controller is viewed as both an xbox pad and a 3rd party pad at once whihc is causing issues.

Playing with two pads should be as simple as setting up a co-op game and pressing start at the correct time.

Worked like a charm. I would've never figured that out on my own. Thanks!
