Map is so hard to look at I never use it.

Waypoints can be hard to follow too

Bring on the gibs

I think that over the top gore would make the game almost comical, which isn't really what this game is trying to achieve. I don't mind extreme graphical depictions of wounds and injuries, as long as it remains "realistic" enough to be believeable. However, I would not welcome something along the lines of the Black Knight fight from MP's Knights of the Holy Grail, where someone has his limbs fly off followed by huge streams of blood, just because he got shot in the leg with a 9 mm.

I'm not talking about over the top gore but im talking about at least some decent gore (like if you get blasted at point blank by a shotgun, you'll see the effect and push back)

I'm alright with gore, but with an intensity slider that ranges from off to whatever extent gore will be implemented.

Like Achi detailed, if it's carried out in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ way then sometimes it's preferable to have no gore at all, or if you're in a place where high-intensity gore in your videogame(especially a "realistic" one) might not be socially acceptable, then a way to disable or lower the amount of gore could save a potential headache.

I'm ambivalent on everything else(except for the M1911, 1911s are obligatory). It probably wouldn't be too hard to mod the first one in, anyway.

Or you could just hide the HUD using the Toggle HUD key (you must bind it first). Some people leave the HUD off for about 90% of the time, only turning it on to view info about the objective, round timer etc.

What's the point of being a realistic shooter if you have a HUD

if you want to turn off the hud, enable the console (In gameplay options) and type "cl_drawhud 0" (without quotes). This completely hides ALL UI elements.

Above all, this game needs more maps.

"Realistic" isn't synonymous with "simulator".

So what else does this game need?
I'd say: boobs, and beer, and boisterous banter! And BB...guns

Uzi, this game needs an uzi.
