Dedicated CO-OP server How to configure ? Also does anyone actually play this game?
As per the title, I have tried to to configure /set up a dedicated co-op server on my pc, but the furthest i have got is it listing in the server browser as a LAN game, i don't want to play on a bloody lan, i want to host a co-op server for anyone with the game to join, why has the game developer and Steam made this so difficult ?
Also in the steam server browser and the games internal server browser there are no games in any modes does anyone actually play this dam game?

search the forums. there are actually many guides on how to setup a co-op servers

and yes, there are always full servers and many people playing the game.

the issue you have about not finding any servers in the server browser has also been discussed and fixed for many , by making an exception for Insurgency in your Antivirus/firewall.

the forums are your friend. the search function is your best friend.

Usually around 1,000 players. The steam server browser doesn't work for some reason, but you should be able to see them in-game.

Check to make sure you are opted out of the beta version of the game, and that there are no filters.

Been there done that and got nowhere , why haven't the game dev's or publishers published a fully detailed step by step guide of how to do this, or better still found a way of automating the process, why has it been left to those who bought the game to fathom out with somewhat conflicting information that is limited, that can just further confuse the end user,
I double checked all the steam ports listed as listed by steam are correctly fowarded in my router, my AV ain't blocking anything , and i still cannot see any games listed in the server browser , Could it be down to the recent update,? as i'm sure prior to that i was seeing MP PvP games
Well at least the game wasn't expensive , i say this as if i'm unable to host or join games online then it is waisting disk space on my HDD

you do not need game bought to be able hosting dedicated server, because Dedicated server is for free :) but you're right, there is no official guide and cvars explanation is inssuficient

If you want further help with hosting coop on your PC, add me on steam and we can try it :) (i'm curently hosting 2 coop servers with no problem)

Also if you are unable to find any server ro connect to one: it's end user (your) problem only, not the game one :)
