I just updated my insurgency and now it wont lasunch why? i tried veryfying and uninstalling and reinstalling still wont work what do i o?

You have to be more specific about what is happening. Also install BattlEye if you do want to play on official servers.

Same here, I click play, the little 'preparing to launch insurgency' screen comes up, and then disappears. Insurgency quickly says 'Syncing' and the game never launches. I'm on linux as well. (Ubuntu 16.04)

Happened after the patch today, I played the game yesterday without any issues.

The BE supposedly comes with the game distribution, but if it does not, please provide us with the instructions to install BE under Linux.

Also... when is the segfault going to be fixed?

reboot your computer .. may causes miracles and will fix 70% of software issues ...
.... especially if you have just installed something

Agreed. I've installed BattlEye and updated the game. But after starting the game, the only thing that pops up is "preparing to launch insurgency", and nothing happens. Pls fix this... so much for coming back to the game after being away for so long..lol
