Wargame: Airland battle won't start up
So I have just purchased the new wargame, and I wanted to play it, it didn't start up though. I clicked play and it told me it was running first time setup. When it was done, and the game would usually start, nothing happend, and after a few seconds the steam update news came up, which it normally does after i have exited a game. Does anyone know what this is and how to fix it?

try verifying files, restarting PC
if that doesn't help, go to the Tech Support section over at http://www.wargame-ee.com/forum

Start task manager, go to processes, than end the task titled wargame2. The issue your having normally results from forcing the application to close either by closing the window or from the task manager.

@The Chivalrous One When i go to processes, i cant find wargame2, its not there, besides the game has never been started even once so the processes shouldent have started in the first place?

It still dosent work, every time it tells me its performing first time setup, and installing microsoft VC redist package, when its finished it just sort of stops doing anything.

Just paid for this game and having the same issues.... I want a refund, because I'm not going to jump through hoops to get this game to work on a new PC with SSD drive, 1GB graphics, 16GB RAM... and an i5 3570k processor.... just seems like too many people having issues with the game...

I had a lot of problems getting any of the games to start. They would all crash while trying to auto-set the video configurations. I needed to reset the video settings back to direct x 9, full screen with mid settings. Only then would the game start normally.

Once the game did start, I exited the game, and hand edited the options.ini file to change to direct x 11 and high settings.

Sorry, I don't remember of the top of my head what the appropriate fields and values were, as I had to google seach that information.
