Tunguska's not firing rockets?
I've been using Tunguska's because they seem to be the best all around AA with rockets *and* gatling cannons. However, I've never seen them fire the rockets. I know its not range, and they clearly say they can shoot helicopters and jets.

Am I missing something here?

Maybe you have turned the rockets off by accident, or have no line of sight?. I can tell you my tungs fire all the time.

i think, although you did say range was not the issue, it is the range that's the problem. If i remember correctly, the gatlings have a farther range then the rockets, meaning that the tunguska will use the gatlings first. Of course i've never seen a tunguska fire both rockets and aa cannon before so maybe its something else.

It's been a while since I've used Tunguskas (normally play Cat C so I use cannon-only Biryusas). IIRC, Tunguskas, similar to most tanks as modeled, can only fire one weapon at a time (i.e. Pattons cannot fire standard rounds and Shillelaghs out of the same barrel IRL). If you want it to fire missiles, you will have to manually disable the cannon and let the missiles do the work. Normally, that's the better way to do it anyways for Tunguskas, as the guns aren't that great at taking down aircraft due to threat of NATO SEAD.

This is probably the issue. Thank!

That is my understanding as well. One fires or the other, but not both.

Same here. If you have 2 grouped maybe 1 would fire the autocannons and the other would fire the SAM's.

It's fine, the rockets wouldn't hit anything anyways :P Have a new AA set up.
