Server/Connection Problems?

As of lately (within the last week) Ive been trying to play 10v10 matches but for no appearant reason my ping has a tendency of jumping upwards of 1500-2000 ms for about 1 or 2 seconds, this is quite a problem because it means my game will often freeze for those couple seconds and it has lead to me losing quite a few decent units.

Basically im wondering if this is something on my end or if the servers overall have been under some stress making the lag more appearent. Considering i have nearly 150 hours ingame and only in the past week have i experinced this im being genuinely curious as to the cause.

Have the same issue.

In 10vs10 matches you can see a few players with 9999 ping and after a 5-10 second freeze people are getting kicked from the server. This happens a few times a match and in the end you are playing a 5vs5 game because people have been kicked (didn't quit themselves) and in the worst case you are the one being kicked. Seems to me that the servers are under a lot of stress.
