units too small? and graphic is not as good as shown in trailers?
even at closest zoom up, units are barely recognizable
and by look of trailers the game seems having best visual among recent rts
as soon as i have started first tutorial i felt cheated

max settings bro

Well of course, unless you have a really powerful, high end rig, chances are that it won't look like the trailers. As far as unit recognization, you just need to look at unit names and types and memorize their uses and specs!

This game actually runs really well on lower end hardware. Any mid-range CPU/GPU combo can max it.

That said, OP almost certainly isn't playing on max settings if you can't tell units apart.

my guess as far as the units being indistinguishable that it is probably the russian tanks he is complaining about because the T- series of tanks for the most part are very similar in appearance (but they are all pretty similar looking IRL as well)

Even at max settings with good fps, it still depends on hardware being used. Have max settings on a Nvidia Geforce GTX Titan Desktop Gpu is gonna be WAY different than max settings on a Nvidia Geforce GT 650M. :p

Unless Nvidia is pulling some shady garbage in the driver for the 650M, there wouldn't be a quality difference. Max settings on one GPU looks like max settings on another.

It depends on the hardware being used in the GPUs as well, having over double the amount of cores and more advance technologies such HBAO+, TXAA, and GPU boosting will make a significant diffence in perforance and quality. I am not completely sure though and could be very wrong, but I am fairly certain in what I'm saying; it could be the reason, and explain why the OPer is having the difficults they are experiencing.

Performance yes, quality no. All recent Nvidia GPUs support HBAO and TXAA, and if they were supported by the game, there would be a setting for them. GPU boosting only affects the clock speed, which itself has no bearing on quality. It doesn't matter if you're running at 200 fps or 1 frame in ten minutes, they should look the same with the same settings, otherwise one or the other wouldn't be following the Direct3D standard. That is true between any GPU. Nvidia, AMD, Intel, Matrox, some custom emulated hardware, anything, as long as it supports DX11 and all the features turned on in the settings.

For the OP's problem, we'd need to know about the hardware and operating system at work to say anything really useful.

i get smooth frames with almost every option to max
but still i cant distingush one unit from another on field

Could you take a screenshot of exactly what you mean?

It may seem silly to ask, but important. What is the native resolution of your monitor, and what is the resolution you have set in game? Even at max settings, low resolution can make things in game blurry and seem distorted.

Units look about the right size to me. Ie about the actual size of tanks etc in real life. One quible i do have is that unit positional information drops to near zero when zoomed out. You can tell what lattitude (with up as north) a unit has but the longitude information disapears. I think I would rather have smaller unit labels (with mouse hover info) and keep some of that position information.
