Do I see a "modern warfare" in the wargame future?
Obviously once everone is burnt out on 80s units, they will want to have the best latest tech given to them to unleash on their enemies.

I understand that there are not many instances where these new technologies have been used widely in combat, but it's ok to fill in the blanks so to speak on how these units would fare against eachother.

I for one don't have much attention or attachment to the stories in Airland battle. Their map topographies seemingly could be almost anywhere on Earth, so any potential nations that are included could really fit in without really noticing that much.

Of course desert nations in forrest maps is strange, but you would just have to add different terrain types for different theatres of war.

I think they may be tking a break for a while after RD, but thats jus a speculation.

I'm hoping for a near future game like 2020s
