I sincerly hope that Eugen make the beta for Red Dragon available to Airland Battle players, that would be great.

I agree. That would be awesome. But as of right now, there are only a few ways to get a key. And they are all very strange.

If they don't give a taste of beta to ALB players expect RD to not be that great. There is no reason not to pool your playerbase's experince and stress test your new game unless its not up to snuff and you want to save the mass disapointment untill after everyone has given you their money.

They are in closed beta right now which is for initial balancing and debugging, companies generally want the more experienced players for this and only allow a few casual players. It is also almost over. There will be an open beta, probably for the preorders, which will test server load. There may be another closed beta to check debugging and balance.

I've been here since WEE and I don't even know what those ways to get a beta are. And I'm usually in a LOT of betas...

There will be an open beta after they polish the game more with input from the second closed beta. The open beta will come with preordering the game I believe, but when it will be opened is still up in the air.
