RD website is up and running.
Though it doesn't give alot of new info, it's pretty cool.

P.S. As of right now, I'm having problems with it. Maybe it's just my internet.

Maybe they're updating it with beta release announcement? I'm optimistic. The forums are down as well.

yhea, rumor has it thou that beta release will come out at the end of march or somewhere close to that. Game looks great, thou I am kinda disapointed that (if the rumors are true) there will be no battleships in the game

I am pretty sure the US was the only ones in the 80s and 90s that had battleships? I may be wrong but if that is true then the US would have Missouri class battleships and no body else would have any battle ships. Also if it was in put loads of AA around and its like my Maus tactic from RUSE.

We pulled the iowa class bships out of mothballs for operation desert storm but other than that i dont think they had any use in that decade.

They've already said that the largest ingame ships will be destroyers, and in the campaign, it's unlikley to see battleships, given their limited survivability in a pretty modern conflict.

operation desert storm is ootf since the game only goes up to 91 for prototypes , all four Iowa class battleships were operational at some point in the 80's and 90's.There is a an interview with one of the game magazines that suggests that if the Naval part of the game works and is well received they may work on adding larger ships and submarines.

Just so you know, prototypes in RD acutally go to '95.
Great Caesar's Ghost 23 feb, ore 9:57
Right, anything after 91 is a prototype and they go past 95 if it aids balance or adds flavor so that is not a hard limit.

1975 to 1991 for normal units, 1995 for Protos.
