WMD's?
what would you do if if the Next wargame ( after red dragon) they added WMD's to the game( tactical nukes, gass, etc.) and how would they even make it so it would be fair.

Fairly certain that strategic weapons are out - this is more tactics than anything else. They would sooner add aircraft carriers and AEW&C planes than WMDs.

devs have confirmed that WMDs will never be addednon the tactical map. they are already included on the strategic campaign map.

WMD's like Tactical Nukes aren't realistically ever going to be used on the scale of the Tactical Map (Strategic Map, yes, but I believe the devs want to show what the war would be like had no Nukes been fired. Straight up conventional war).

that allready being said it would a whole other factor to the game that could be good or bad and if the devs won't add it there is bound to b a mod out there.

*Uses tactical nuke on AI in a sector in campaign: gets entire force wiped out by counter nukes* pretty much what would happen

there would be anti-nukes and CNB protection on the more expensive vehicles and it would make armored CV's more usefull then they are now.
Magic Striz 19 feb om 4:42vm
Armored CV's are useful in conquest when conquering forward, contested sectors. I only use armored CV's and Tank CVs.

I said more usefull , Armed CV's saved my ♥♥♥ lots of times

daisycutter would be nice, a hercules 130 would fly as fast as an A10

the bigger the better
I wouldn't mind to see carpet bombing with B-52s or Tupelovs. Hell what I'd really like to see is actual airborne infantry, parachute out of planes onto a battlefield.

yea and it would work because it would be obvoise but faster then unloading by helocopter

This can't happen. If you know anything about Airborne operations, every single attempt to paradrop infantry directly into an engagement has been a failure (even Normandy, but that suceeded because of volume of men dropped, but they were scattered to hell). Crete, Norway, areas of Poland, Market Garden, the list of operations with large amounts of friendly casualties is much longer than the list of sucessful jumps.

Airborne is dropped long ways out of the engagement behind the enemy, and they hike in like light-infantry. Otherwise, they would get torn to pieces by enemy AA and Air-Power before even hitting the ground (lot of guys died before even jumping at Normandy, and it's reasonable to say we had air superiority there during the jumping). The way Para works in this game is exactly how Para would actually work in real life.

no para's no wmd its not red alert

If they did impliment it, which they've said before that they never would, how would it be achieved, especially in MP, 5000 command points? I see in 4v4 and larger maps, one guy not buying anything to save for WMDs while his team holds off the enemy. Would be a terrible feature.
