Should I get Red Dragon?

I have both EE and AB. I like the look of Red Dragon but have been hearing that owners of AB will be dissapointed. Is this the case. Shall I save my pennies and stick with AB or will there be something for me making Red Dragon worthwhile. Help me make my mind up guys.

RD is the best in series so far IMO for ease of deck building. I like it more than the others at this point.

The deck building in RD has filters, so it is easy to view all units that fit a certain 'profile'. After using it for a while, I really don't like using the previous versions. Also with RD you can create a deck and assign it to the AI. So you can actually test your decks against your other decks in skirmish mode. RD is a step beyond AB in that regard.

No , the game is great, but WAY different than C&C (my first and favorite RTS). The game is not a base building game, I think there should be a new category, not RTS (real time strategy) but TRTS (Tactical Real Time Strategy). Friend me and RGOFIREMAN. We have a blast learning the units of the game.

Its not supposed to be a base build game in the style of C&C or Starcraft, its actually different (I Wouldn't play it if it was, don't get me wrong I enjoy them but I'm bored of them. They are about base rushing the enemy player and nothing else), not to mention that units are actually important rather than just numbers, as is positioning and proper recon of the enemy. Its much better than your traditional, standing next to total war imo

RD is most certainly a step down from ALB. ALB's addition of planes really added another FULL dimension to the combat. But RD's attempt to add another dimension through ships definitely falls short. Ships and planes should be a separate wargame altogether.
