The most common cause for this is an issue with the audio device your system is using. For in-depth troubleshooting steps for this issue, please contact our official support form:

Oh, I have solve the case, whenever you got the app installed with big picture on, it won't seem to do anything, so might well have it off

How did you solve the problem Moony, was it just the Big Picture thing or was there something else?
糖果 ♥ Sep 23, 2013 @ 9:56am
Big picture thing i have on, that's why it couldn't like install it or open.

Hmm, I don't have the Big Picture on, it just doesn't launch. :(

KikiNick,

This is usually caused by MC6T not being able to communicate with your sound hardware, because another application has it opened already. There's a few tech tips in the stickied FAQ in this forum. Otherwise please contact our support team directly as they can walk you though a few steps. Their contact info is also stickied in this forum.

I've checked the FAQ, I'm still awaiting a response from your support team. I can't figure out why it detects my soundcard, runs the checks and passes them all, but then the application doesn't launch. Any advice would be appreciated. :)

It's trying to gain 100% control over it and something else is likely not letting go.

And your support guys can tell me how to do that? *Tries to wait a little longer*

We just had the flash sale over the weekend so there may be a bit higher volume, but yes.

The community has helped quite a few people over the last few months. What audio hardware are you using right now?
Kiki Sep 23, 2013 @ 12:31pm
It's only a Realtek card.
Sorry for hijacking your thread Moony. :(

I had a Realtek card when I first got MC6 and at the suggestion of the guys in green downloaded the free ASIO4All and then I could get audio. My Realtek card won't work any other way that I could find.

I'll give it a look, thanks.

Try 'verifying application data' first before launching if you install ASIO4ALL drivers. That way MC6T will do another test behind the scenes and should default to the ASIO driver mode.

I did that, it did the test and the next start up it scanned the various folders, but still doesn't start the app. :(
