Together with the fact that files got copied to C without me beeing asked if I want that (you know, some people install software not on C for a reason), makes this such a bad first impression that I think about to ask Steam Support for a refund. Usualy I am willing to do my part to get Games to run, try everything, search for help and the like... but this ain't a game, this piece of software should work out of the box and if G is the install location then all files should be placed there and not somewhere else.
Hi GlowingOrb, What audio device are you using? It sounds like the application is having a hard time accessing your drivers or another background application is holding the driver open.
Hi Flava Clown, same as I asked GlowingOrb, what audio device are you using?
Also, re: to folders. We've had a few similar threads to that lately,: http://steamcommunity.com/app/222710/discussions/0/846959179217051457/#c846959179220065324

I personally use a small System drive. I copy the contents over to my data drives and point MC6T to look at the correct folders.
Unfortunately, DAW software is much more complicated than game engines so certain issues can pop up. Software on Steam is also new so there's some things that are being done on the back end and improving. Also if you'd like the standalone windows installer please let me know and send a friend invite. We're more than willing to work something out with you and make sure you're satisfied with your purchase.
I'm using a Creative SB X-Fi Extreme, but I've also tried deactivating it and using my crappy On-Board Soundchip. It will freeze in both cases
