I am a Sonar 6 user, should i buy MC6 ?
I use Sonar 6 studio edition since 2007 and it is a powerful pro tool for music production. But i like how simple it looks and is the MC6 and i think i should buy it. I could use MC6 to compose songs and when i wanted more advancedfeatures i could import the project to Sonar 6 and continue from there.
Are there any other benefits for a Sonar user to purchase MC6? Also i want to ask something about Studio instruments. Are all 4 Studio instruments included in MC6 and if yes are all 4 full versions or is only Studio drums full version and the other 3 Instruments are trial versions and must be purchased?
And one other thing. Does MC6 work in Windows xp 32 or 64 bit or is it only compatible with Windows 7-8?

The full version of Studio Instruments is included in Music Creator 6 Touch. That's new for this version. Also, we only recommend Windows 7 and 8 but we do sell a XP/Vista version on our site that doesn't include the touch features, new UI and workflow enhancements, guitar amp and SI Strings, Bass, and Electric Piano.

As for upgrading to SONAR X2. The workflow and UI are very similar and SONAR X2 does come with more professional features. Because you are upgrading, the pricing might be favorable for you to pick up SONAR X2.

I dont understand. Are you saying that you sell a windows xp compatible version that DO NOT include Studio instruments among other features? And that means if i buy the Touch version i will not be able to run it in windows xp?

Yes, Music Creator 6 Touch won't run on Windows XP.
