Puddle
A game unlike ANY other?!
"a game unlike any other where you have to guide a puddle of fluid by tilting the environment to the left or right!"

Right...? WRONG! On the Nintendo Wii theres this game called "Fluidity" where you guide a puddle of water by tilting the Wii remote left and right... I guess it's not fluid but it's basicly the same game...

Yeah, first thing I thought too was Fluidity did it first from Nintendo on the Wii about a couple of years ago.
Same thoughts... feels like a port of Fluidity. Complete with sluggish and unrealistic fluid physics that made me quit playing the Wii version as well. Frustrating when you know how liquid *should* behave but the physics of the game world feel more like space physics...
I have both puddle, and Fluidity (Hydroventure for me) on my Wii U console, and yeah. Puddle is not an unique game, and that not depends on how the developers say it. But whitch game is better? Hydroventure, or Puddle? Well, on my opinion, I think Hydroventure is better.

First of all, Hydroventure released earlyer, and cheaper than this game. This point worth actualy nothing!

The controlls are makes the biggest diference here, because in Hydroventure you forced to use motion controlls. But in Puddle, you can set up ZR ZL, or Left stick. This point is go for Hydroventure, because it forces the player to use it. But in puddle, that ruins the sence.

Forms: In Hydroventure, we only mention the three diferent forms of the H2O. In Puddle, there are many diferent kind of fluid. Coffee, Water, Plantkiller, Fertilizer, Nytroglycerin, Fruit Juice, Termomentum Solution, Pee(cutscene only), Organic Residue, Ink, Rocket Fuel, Lava, ect... cloud is missing, but the souvenir ball can take up ice.
This point goes for Puddle.

Puddle Definetly have bunch of diferent places to tell, and the most unique is the (yurk) Human Body. There are even antigravity zones, and zero gravity zones. In Hydroventure, there are 24 large pages in the book, with 89 Rainbow drops to find!

Puddle tells a silent story about chain reactions, while the book named Hydroventure fights to clean up itself, so this point will definetly goes to Hydroventure.

No matter what kind of fluid you control, It is the most simple in Hydrventure. You also can enchant your water with skills like Gather, Ice, Stick, Cloud, Grab, Lightning, Blow, and Squirt.
Each one introduces unique abilities, and unlocks new pathways.
In Puddle, you control diferent kind of liquids, but there are no diferent pathways to go, and if there is one, that would depend on the skill.

Puddle has only one bonus, The pixel world. But Hydroventure can remember highscores for Four diferent minigames. I Don't really know about this one, because I own the Wii (U) versions.

Hydroventure definetly has hidden things, but Puddle only has a goal for each level. No point, because they really hidden. Achievements in Puddle, makes some trickly task.

Hydroventure sure has better physic even if you don't use gather. In Puddle, the liquid always goes where it ... simply ... go. MAN! And Hydroventure even has smaller parcticles, and the water allways flows in one piece, not like one bunch pack of drops!

If you want to spend hours for gaming, You should choose Hydroventure!
And if you want some extreme dificulty, your choice goes for Puddle.

But what you can get up to give points for puddle?

(Multiplatform still means -1 point when mentioned!)

Hydroventure 5-2 Puddle

I don't have this game on steam, but that dosen't mean I can't be here!

Hydroventure has a trial version too!

Both games may have been inspired by Loco Roco (PSP).
NO WAY! Loco Roco is far away from our... two... pro games.

Forget that game OKAY? We are talking about that Hydroventure is the FIRST of it's kind game, and puddle's developers telling that THEIR game is the first of this Liquid controlling genere. So, I think Hydroventure is the first of the kind, and Loco Roco's non fluid creatures are forgotten here!

After I watched the trailer, and some gameplay I can tell that game is far from our fluid kind.

Understand? Community is PUDDLE'S! Subject is HYDROVENTURE's! No more places.
it's called marketting dog
every game has lofty and retarded statements attached
What are you think? Whitch game simulates liquid better? Tiling the real world in puddle's gameplay, or tilting actualy a book, holding it not perfectly verticaly. That can easyly mean your liquid simply glides in the air. Puddle also introduces a very strange gameplay mechanism: The pulse control. It apears in the last two levels of the human body stage. And MAN! Tilting the Wii U gamepad left and right is far not enough. Tilt faster! Tilt faster! This game truly looks like it is not really implemented to Wii U. Every time I watch a youtube video about puddle, I notice that the screen tilting is really sharp. Nothing smooth. Just left, right, and none. What kind of tilting is that? Can you tell me what kind of controlls causing this to happen? Is this entire tilting is controlled by the left, and right keyboard keys? So that's why I had to use my sad faces on the last two levells in puddle's fourth chapter. The quik left-right-left-right section is far not that easy when using motion controls. So puddle is not implemented to Wii U. Far not. I don't know how the gameplay feels like if you only use two of your fingers, but that is so unfair. I even can't use the editor. But why would be that so hard to implement? Left stick to rotate, and touchscreen to place. But no! All extra feature puddle has, is the pixel world.
