Shouldn't be an issue, I'm past that no problems. You gotta take that level slow, cant bump the stuff. Tricky game but isn't that the point. Wait till the later levels!

You blow after start, I cant do anything.
The solution was close the game and opening again, strange issue

Having the same issue, nitro blows immediately upon starting level, no chance to even start controlling it. Restarting game fixes it for me too, but only for one try, then it returns to insta-fail.

You guys using a controller or keyboard? I used keyboard, that's the only difference maybe.

I was using keyboard too

Fixed it. Reduced my monitor to 60Hz and it works fine now, keyboard and gamepad. I can't get it to insta-fail now no matter how much I try.

I noticed Puddle has no vsync and started to wonder if my refresh rate was the issue and it is, refresh rates of 120Hz or 144Hz can cause issues in games, sometimes collision problems. Looks like Puddle runs as fast as it's allowed and doesn't account for refresh rates over 60Hz as I notice the menu screens were a lot faster when I had the higher refresh rate. This must be causing minor collision issues that only cause problems with explosives that are sensitive to chaotic velocity.
