I thought it was absolutely worth it.
Play the demo. If you think the demo is interesting, then you'll probably like the main game even more.
It's a relatively short game if you're not scouring it over and over for secrets, but it's incredibly clever (and very silly).
Thank you for your answer.
Be advised however, this game is short (ish), but I dont think that because of that you shouldn't buy it because its still really awesome and an enjoyable game. (quality>quantity!)
If $15 is more than throwaway money for you, then what do you have to lose by putting it in your Wishlist and waiting for a sale?
I think the 14.99 is still a bit high. Really all this "game" is finding all the paths to all the "endings" (or rather false endings.) There is no "message" like some here like to believe, thinking it boosts their intellect somehow.
Getting 4 hours out of this is a stretch. Unless you are that diehard person who wants to replay several of the endings many times just to witness a minor change on the next play through, like game objects being slightly rearrange. Hooray, real fun. People who spend the most time with this game are the ones being fooled that there is more to it than there really is. When actually all it is is just a walk through a funhouse.
I'd say that it's probably a little more art than game. The Game is exploring and discovering, which is fun but somewhat repetitive after a while as you start to retread old paths looking for new directions to try.
The Art is the writing and teasing\subversion of narrative and gaming tropes (and accompanying visual effects and gags), and it's fantastic.
