Running the Critter Chronicles on Fedora [lets try to get it working]

If you're trying to run Critter Chronicles on Fedora you'll run into a few problems. One of these problems I can't figure out so I thought Id start a talk here.

So first I ran kAGE from /home/username/Steam/SteamApps/common/The Critter Chronicles/bin/32 and ran it until i had all the dependencies listed / installed.

After that I edited boutvc.sh and removed the 'arch' section. I also removed the code to install dependencies. I left the variables and everything after #run.

So now the game is almost running. It starts from steam and creates a white window momentarily. I then get this error:

X Error of failed request: BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied)
Major opcode of failed request: 2 (X_ChangeWindowAttributes)
Serial number of failed request: 7
Current serial number in output stream: 8


I think this is the last thing I need to solve. Any help would be appreciated.

Disabling the "Steam Community" setting in the game's properties fixes this issue for me.
