Game crashes near the end
Near the end of the game, when the screen fades to black, it will crash on me. I'm running on Mac. Have tried turning the graphics to low quality. Help..?

It's after Munkus has been turned into a baby, and Nate and Critter are chasing each other on the snow. Did I miss anything after?

Can you send us somehow your "/Library/Application Support/Unwritten Tales – Viehchroniken" and "Library\Application Support\Steam\userdata\<YOUR ID>\221830\remote" folder?

Okay, I've also included the crash report just in case: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/6556031/critter-xl.zip

Could you let me know when you've downloaded it, so I could remove the link? :D

Got same problem on linux.

Heres my terminal outpot from the crash :)

An exception has occured: OGRE EXCEPTION(3:RenderingAPIException): Zero sized texture surface on texture credits_text.tga face 0 mipmap 0. I have the same problem but I'm on Ubuntu 12.10 64-bit not OSX.

I've uploded my remote folder with saves here[ubuntuone.com] and also the contents of .boutvc [ubuntuone.com]folder.

The crash is caused by "kagedata/lang/data/locations/endcredits/credits_text.tga" image size being too large for some graphics cards. It's 9000 pixels tall, while for example DX10 cards support max. 8192x8192 px textures, and DX9 cards 4096x4096 px textures. The simplest workaround for the bug is to resize the image (for example crop the empty space at top and bottom, what makes all the credits text fit in 8192 pixels height).

Example (workaround) solution steps for Linux are presented in this post.
