Any way to skip the base game levels?

I don't want to waste time playing the base game levels twice, when all I want to do is play the character puzzles.
Is there any way to skip right to the next teams character specific puzzles?

No. But there are some shortcuts, I collected them in my achievement guide here in the guides section.

But at least on your second playthrough it shouldn't be that boring, as you need to remember how you solved it and how you can optimize it.

Yes, you can actually completely skip the zoo, you can carry a sausage all the way from the beginning or have the monk use his power on the sausage machine at the zoo to skip the level.

You can skip parts in some of the character levels using the monk or by carrying the right item from a previous puzzle.
