How many hours have you played 'The Cave' yet?
Just interested. Steam says, that I played 58 hours so far. Whoops. :) And I'm on a playthrough with Knight, Hillbilly and Twins. I feel like this could be the last one for a while. But nearly 60 hours fun out of one game is huge (a movie gives you just 2-3 hours with nearly the same cost). However, I'm someone digging much into details and wanted to get everything about the whole story (and all achievements). I really had a blast playing The Cave. And timing is perfectly because we had really bad weather and far too much snow here around. During the winter I'm only going outside if really necessary. ;-)

How about you?

I just love adventure games so I pre-ordered The Cave the day it was availiable.
But as much as I wanted to enjoy the game, 30fps on 3D game was just not acceptable to me.

I would not have minded if it was 2D game but when 3D graphics are rendered at 30fps it just bothers me too much, especially when it is a side-scrolling game.

Since the developer announced an upcoming patch which should enable 60fps, I will just be patiently waiting for the patch.

I'm on 23hrs, with 3 achievements still missing that I intend to get in two more playthroughs, but I probably won't play again for a while.

Did they? I know they said right after the release that they would, but I wasn't really holding out any hope. Is it official, then? That would be great. The 30fps annoys me horribly as well, but I kind of got sucked into the atmosphere and couldn't put the game down despite that annoyance.

I have at least 18 hours and I'm only on my 4th play through. I intend to play through three more times to get the last of the achievements, so it'll probably be a lot in the end :p

15 hours. and have played through it 3 times. I thought $20 was a pretty pricey. But it was pretty enjoyable so no regrets. It's a good game to come back too when my internet has kicked the bucket.
