Trying multiplayer. (Help!)
I was recently given this game as a gift and attempted to play multiplayer with my housemate. Figuring that there are controls for both mouse and keyboard in the game, I could use the keyboard and he could use the mouse. Easy, right?

Apparently not - we had no luck getting it working, and after doing a bit of reading it would appear that the only way to do local co-op is by using gamepads - something I don't have.

Is there another way I should be using to get co-op working? Or is it going to be a matter of me having to go out and buy extra hardware to make this happen? :-/

Bump.

Yes, you have to have controllers.

Thanks.

Not a problem. I thought you would have figured it out by now though.

If I had controllers, I could have tested it.
There's nothing I can see on the store page indicating that controllers are *required* for multiplayer, and it didn't seem unreasonable that one player would be able to use the mouse and another could use the keyboard.

Oh well. C'est la vie, I suppose.

Hi, I know that I might not be very helpful but I'll say this anyway.
I also tried to play this game with my gf (I have one gamepad and a keyboard).
We had a lot of trouble moving the characters and sometimes we would need to play with one controller only (because the other one wasn't responding/moving the character).
It might be my fault but what I wanted to basically say is that if you wish to play with another person you should only one controller (one person plays and the other helps) or buy two gamepads.
Since I had already beat the game, I was helping her out and she was playing.
I hope you have as much fun as I did! :)
