If you like puzzle/adventure games this game is pretty fun to play.

I enjoyed it quite a bit. The puzzles are good and the story is excellent, if dark.

Awesome game. Highly recommended if you enjoyed Ron Gilbert's previous games, or creative adventure games/creative games.

Not really. It is a very pretty game, but the backtracking is awful, there are some bugs, and the controls are rather annoying with regards to response rate.

The voice acting, graphics, and writing is all good. If only the gameplay itself were better. I'd say it is an average game overall that with better gameplay could have been solid.

Yeah it's OK. It's easy and a bit short, but I suppose for £10 less the cash I got back selling the TF2 preorder items on the market it wasn't too bad. But for all their stuff about releasing linux versions and fixing the frame rate and so on, their games don't really last long enough for any of that to matter much.

Pick it up in sale for 50-75% off and you'll be happy.

I did the first 3 characters local co-op with my son, I think that was a bit more fun than playing solo, but probably made the game even easier because at every turn one of us, if not the other, would immediately twig the solution. We both used 360 controllers and had no issues controlling the characters or with any game breaking bugs.

He lost interest retracing steps on the 2nd set of 3 though (more interested in playing dota 2) even with the promise of new areas. So I ended up doing the next 2 playthroughs by myself.

By the 3rd playthrough with just the Monk area as new some of the repeated sections were getting tiring. There's little incentive for me going through to see the different pictures or completing the few achievements I missed.

I think it would have been better had they just let you swap in the relevant characters as you came to their specfiic areas and avoided the repetition - and possibly worked in some system so that after you'd finished the game you could replay certain areas by going straight to them.

Difficulty is, I suppose, subjective to some extent, but whist old man murray wrote an excellent piece years ago about adventure games commiting suicide with overly complicated and illogical puzzle solutions, I think this one erred too far towards being trivial.

A mistake arguably made by OMM's author when developing Portal 2 (although they do at least have incredible production values, a significantly better co-op experience and a bunch of custom levels you can download and play which is some recompense)

Well, I was looking for a puzzle game. Finished the game for the first time today. It was really fun to discover how to solve the puzzles all by myself. Now I'm playing for the second time with 3 different characters and it's "like" a new game. I agree that the game is short, but it's worth because you can play it by many different ways, choosing different characters. Also, I agree with Yabba when he says that repeating some areas to finish the game for the third time is tiring (but I'm gonna do it, 'cause I wanna play with all the 7 characters). I don't know how is it to play co-op, so no opinions. Anyway, it's a really good puzzle game, with a bunch of funny moments.
