Stuck at Time Traveler Level.

I'm stuck at Time travelers Level. I killed the dinasour. I know i need to use the Oil to use that Elavator , but i dont have a bucket :( I tryed everything to steal the key but i cant get the guards attention at all. What should i do im stuck

The rock that is covering a hole you need to push it away from the hole in the dino age.

how do i do that ? when i push it it roles back blocking the hole

alright thanks , that was really stupid , how should of i knew that i need to hold it down and then swtich tried it without holding and didnt work :( but thanks

You didn't need to know, you just needed to guess. It wasn't much of a problem. You learned how to do everything else so far without something telling you how to do it.

Nevertheless, I can easily say this particular mechanic of switching roles while grabbing a dragable object was the only puzzle that had me very stumped for a long long time. And finding out the actual solution, while maybe intuitive to some people, felt out-of-place from all other puzzles in the game. That said, I can't think of a simpler way to teach the player the mechanic.

Yes, this time travveling level is a bit weird ... but if you have ever seen the "Back to the future" trilogy at once, you'll get used to 4th dimensional thinking :) .

If you let one of your characters do something in the past / dino age, you can see his skeleton in the present or future ;) .

Yup, I was stuck there for a while myself. Like you, I pushed the rock up and left my character standing in front of it and then switched to future, instead of keeping the interact button pressed while I did it.. It didn't cross my mind..until I came here out of despair :P. That was the only one so far that had me stumped.

Yup, I was stuck there for a while myself. Like you, I pushed the rock up and left my character standing in front of it and then switched to future, instead of keeping the interact button pressed while I did it.. Yeah i tried that as well just pushed the rock up and stood there then went to future and nothing. So why would holding it be any different , I just didnt try it.

Some people just figure it out themselves. Some people don't look it up on youtube because they want to figure it out themselves. Some people can't figure it out and say it's bugged instead of realizing that they just did it wrong.

But mostly people don't look it up on youtube because if you do that for a game like this, then you might as well not play.

Wierd and unexpected game mechanics. In my first playthrough I still had the miner's bucket and used that and wondered about the unused boulder part.

Now thats an interesting statement :) Are we thinking 3rd or 4th dimension since the game on its own is 2d? :)
