Fail to install soundtrack
Hi,
When I try to install The Cave + OST, I have an error message. In content_log.txt this is the error in english:
Failed installing app 221825 (Invalid install path)
=> What is the install path, and how to fix? The OST doesn't appear in the DLC tab or in the contextual menu of the game, and reparation doesn't fix.

Unfortunately encountered the same error today. Shortly after purchasing the Sega Fun Pack from Amazon, I logged into Steam to enter the product key for The Cave. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the OST is included. Unfortunately, I have yet to figure out how to get the download for the OST to initiate. The game itself downloads just fine.

sadly Steam has a bad reputation for this. You have to do a "search" of your desktop to find the Steamapps folder. you can then create a shortcut of that and place that shortcut on your desktop for easier access to the sound files from the game.

Maybe a problem only with retail keys ?
@RisuRoars: it didn't download the "soundtrack" DLC at all.

It's just as TroudhuK and Ramzi™ have said. I've contacted Sega about the issue. Just waiting on a reply now.

Well, someone from Sega finally responded to me with a suggestion:

Rhianna, May 20 16:29 (PDT):
Since the soundtrack is being downloaded to the same game folder, there could have been an issue with the connection when you downloaded the full game. Try deleting the game folder from your Steam folder and try downloading the game again and then the soundtrack. There may have been a corrupted file that is preventing the OST from properly downloading.
Keep us posted.

Hey dudes. I just found some kind of solution for our problem, just considering the soundtrack files: They can easily be found on Google if u search for "The Cave Game Soundtrack". If u don't get the right result, write a PM to me and I can give you the link.

Pity that does not solve the steam-problem, but at least I got the Soundtrack now...

I think it's an error of Steam to show "install Soundtrack" after activating the retail key. It seems that the Soundtrack is not part of the retail game because I can still purchase the Soundtrack via Steam. Normally you will get a notification that you already own the item if you try to purchase something that you already own.

I don't think that's the Soundtrack of this Game. The Soundtrack from rebelgames is for a board game called the Cave.

For some DLC you don't have the "already owned" notification (bugged ?). When you enter the key, you have 2 check boxes: "The Cave" and "The Cave Soundtrack".

What TroudhuK said. If the soundtrack is not included, then it's very strange that there are two checkboxes: #1 being "The Cave" and #2 being "The Cave Soundtrack". The way one of Sega's customer service representatives responded to me makes me even more certain that there is some sort of error with the codes:

Rhianna, May 22 15:23 (PDT):

Thanks for confirming.
Our team is investigating this issue and we're working on a possible resolution. I also saw your post on the Steam forums, and noticed you are not alone with this particular error.
We will do our best to resolve this Soundtrack install issue as soon as possible. When we have more information I will update this ticket immediately. If there's anything else you'd like to add, please let us know.

Thanks for your patience.

Sadly, this was over a week ago. At this point, if I found out the OST wasn't meant to be included with the game, I would be fine with that. However, not being able to access something that (from all signs) apparently should have been included with my purchase is a little upsetting.

You have to reenter the purchased key to try to download the OST again.

Edit: I mean when there will be a solution.
