is it worth it for this sale price?
Im just wondering about buying it and would like some reasons why people think it is worth it or not.

I personally don't like the game. I thought it was very simple and repetitive with minimal replay value. I think I'm in the minority though.

Its fun for an adventure game if you like the maniac mansion style gameplay. Repetive? yes its a damn adventure point and click game.

I love point and click adventure games. This isn't what I personally would call one of them. Point and click games are generally more story driven such as Monkey Island or Siberia. This has basically zero story and reminds me more of old arcade puzzle/platformer games such as Lost Vikings... except not as well done.

I bought it at full price when it released. It's a puzzle platformer which changes depending on who you pick to play with. I think you'll easily get the value out of it.

I think it's worth it. Fun puzzles, dark humor, visually appealing, the Twins are the best.

I just bought it because of its price, maybe 15 bucks is too much for the game but 75 percent makes it more attractive.

I personally think it's worth it. I had a ton of fun playing it and I especially liked all the different characters and their storys. But this game isn't for everybody, so I guess you'll have to try it out yourself!

Be careful "local co-op" doesn't mean LAN, it means splitscreen (one PC) :(

I'd recommend this game ONLY if you liked Maniac Mansion. The Cave is Ron Gilbert's personal homage to his first adventure game and he wanted to design a very similar experience, so it has the same strenghts and also the same issues. Maniac Mansion wasn't a story driven game like other graphic adventures such as Monkey Island, as it was just a chain of puzzles following a very simplistic plot. What made that game great was the rich environment and characters that populated it, and that's what you'll find in The Cave, no more no less.

It's a really fun game for a quick playthrough. It's pretty easy and the narrator is funny. It has a lot of personality but it's not the greatest game ever

Great game for the sale price.

Worth every penny if you like games made with passion, for players. Excellent dialogs, enjoyable atmosphere, some tricky puzzles at some time but overall it's okay even for those not familiar with that kind of games. Replay value is quite good I think if you like the game. Anyway, as said before, it has a lot of personnality, it's a great satire of human feelings and our most awful sides, definitely a great game if you can get it for less 7$ !
