PC or Xbox?
Should I get this for PC or Xbox?

Since I got my gaming PC I've been neglecting my Xbox and automaticly buying for PC, but with this game I'm kind of iffy on what to do. I have the first one on xbox so I already have 1 DLC pack and 2 songs, but I could probably just re-buy them for PC seeing how MS rips off canadians for whatever reason (we pay +50% of what americans pay with taking the exachange rate into consideration). On the other hand this game is going to use UPlay on PC. I've heard of UPlay randomly deleting your games from your profile and just being an all around pain. Also the multiplayer in UPlay forces me to use my real name for some reason and I'm not really happy about that.

GAH SO MANY THINKING!

rocksmith is a game that you want on PC. the loading times on consoles will make you smash your guitar and turn this into a very expensive game.

oh yea..uPlay. don't buy it on PC.

Oh yeah the loading times. That has got to be the singe most notice able diffrence when switching up to PC. Very noticable when going back to play Xbox 360.

But yeah that is the whole situation summed up. "PC is better" "but there is UPlay" "...♥♥♥♥"

Hmm... that actually is a good point. Now I'm leaning towards PC.

What exactly is the issue with uplay? They claim it is a one time install time check. Are people fearing they won't be able to play if their internet connection is down?

UPlay is going to be on consoles also...

I'll buy both versions. As I've downloaded songs on both and don't play on Xbox One until there are guitar games for it.

Though, in interviews, they said the load time on Xbox has been fixed for RS2014

I think this title will be steamworks like the original Rocksmith which didnt use uPlay at all, if you go to the store page you will find all the steam features, even trading cards. I think they stick to steamworks instead of uPlay because of the r3tarded amount of DLC they use.

I play Rocksmith on xbox360 I tried the demo on PC and my console doesn't lag and the display is just better. I connect my xbox 360 to my pc monitor and it pretty much beats a windows 7 and windows 8 pc.. no issues with lag either

What about PS3, any experience on that console?

I am asking about my personal situation and I don't own a PS3 currently

I think that steam sales basically make it a no brainer. plus you never know, someone could eventually make mods.

I have Rocksmith on both PC and Xbox, I have to say that Rocksmith on PC has alot more audio delay, even with good rigs (though it's fairly fixable, just anoying). Where as the Xbox version has none that I can personally tell, but you have to hook up your sound weird. (you can't use HDMI and need to hook up your sound to speakers rather than your TV)

Personally I prefer the PC, just because I hate rigging those speakers to my Xbox every time i want to play Rocksmith, but it's up to you.

I own the original for both PS3 and PC. The loading times on the PS3 are insane by comparison.
